Breast Concerns & Breast Cancer Screening
Breasts grow and evolve throughout a woman's lifetime: from puberty to periods, pregnancy to breastfeeding, through menopause and beyond.
Breast health begins with breast awareness: a sense of what's normal for your breasts. As part of breast care, consider doing regular breast self-exams - we can provide instruction on how to best perform a breast self-exam. With practice, you'll learn how your breasts vary in sensitivity and texture at different times during your menstrual cycle.
Many women have concerns about breast lumps, breast pain or nipple discharge. Visit us for an assessment of any of these concerns, as well as breast cancer screening based on age and family history.
